Why is it that people have such a problem with other people's

pasts? I know this guy who doesn't trust me at all. I

have one friend at home, and he just happens to be my best

friend from grade 11. Now, we did go out for a little while,

a couple of years ago. But, this fellow that is bothered

by me hanging out with my best friend just doesn't get it.

I do not think of my best friend that way... but this guy is totally

jelous of him... and only because we went out for a few months.

He always gets mad at me for hanging out with him.

I come from a small town. I realized a while ago that

if I wanted to have a boyfriend, it was going to have to be

one of my friends, and vice versa. I have remained friends

with almost all of my boyfriends, and don't regret it at all.

But this guy who is overreacting, just doesn't get it. I saw who

cares if we were together? I sure don't. It's the past, this

is what's happening now.

I just don't understand people sometimes. I think that

I am fairly laid back, easygoing- especially about peoples'

pasts, and I just want and require that same respect and

understanding. I wish I could find someone to give me that. Arg.
